For 2013, I vowed to continue to try new things. So I started a new blog. I most definitely cannot top my resolution of last year which was to quit my job and go back to school full time (check and check) so I might as well have a resolution that is entertaining. To me. Also, I needed something to do at work until classes start up again and I have papers to do.
A little background: I am a Masters of Social Work Student living with her parents and her cats (go me!) until graduation in 2014. About a year ago, I decided that I would apply for the MSW program and if I got in, I would QUIT my full time, mediocre paying job and go back to school full time. Much to my surprise, I got in. After I asked myself what the hell I was thinking I excitedly waited for 6 months to give my notice (I found out in February and quit in August). Fast forward to now and I have found that the MSW program has changed me a whole lot. I am starting to be more outgoing, more confident and more self aware. I love it. The only downside is I live with my parents and my cats.
So here's hoping to a great 2013 filled with many blog posts and Golden Girls wisdom.
